If your child needs to be seen quickly — whether it’s a sore throat after school, a sudden rash, a sprained ankle on the weekend, or just a “something’s off” parent feeling — you’ll be glad to know that Thrive Kids Clinic’s after-hours walk-in / urgent care service is here to help. Located right in the heart of our neighbourhood at 2686 Danforth Avenue, we serve the families of Leslieville, East York, the Danforth & Upper Beaches with pediatric-specific, family-friendly urgent care.

Why Choose a Pediatric Urgent Care vs A General Walk-In?

  • Our team are children’s specialists — we’re not just generalists. That means your little one gets a clinician who knows kids, knows how to talk to them (and their parents), and how to make an urgent visit less scary.

  • We accept both Thrive Kids Clinic patients and non-patients in our urgent care window, so you don’t need to be “already registered” to use us for the “uh-oh” moments. Thrive Kids Clinic

  • We operate on a first-come, first-serve daily list, but encourage you to call ahead so we can get you on the list. Wait times are typically kept to under an hour for most visits. Thrive Kids Clinic

  • Because we are located in your neighbourhood, you avoid the stress and time-cost of a big hospital visit when it’s not a true emergency — but you still get expert, friendly care.
