Newborn Bridge Clinic
Expert Support Within 72 Hours of Hospital Discharge
What We Provide
Leaving the hospital is a major milestone, but the first few days at home can be overwhelming. The Thrive Kids Newborn Bridge Clinic provides specialized medical follow-up for newborns up to one month old who cannot access a check-up elsewhere within the critical 72-hour post-discharge window.
Our goal is to ensure every Toronto baby is safe, feeding well, and growing. This visit includes:
Weight & Growth Checks
Post-Discharge Review
Jaundice Screening
Important Note: A Newborn Bridge Clinic visit provides specialized short-term support. It is not ongoing primary care and does not guarantee long-term acceptance into Thrive Kids Clinic
Feeding & Latch Assessment
Integrated Specialty Care
If our team identifies feeding or nutritional challenges during your visit, you will receive priority access to our Allied Health Squad, including our Lactation Specialist and Pediatric Dietitian.
OUR VISION
Better Kids. Better Families.
